So Sorry...but it is just in the air.,,

Yesterday when the craft fair started to wrap up the weather started getting colder and the smell of rain was in the air. By the time we were ready to start loading the truck it was a down pour and the wind was blowing so hard we had to hang out in the school until the weather cleared a bit.

This morning, we woke up to dark gray clouds, winds, and rain! It was chilly in the house and it was nice to turn on the fireplace. I logged on to Facebook and all our family and friends were posting pics of all the snow that had fallen in Utah yesterday. I decided today it was time to change the look of our blog and music to fit the Christmas mood that feels the air and my heart.

I am usually not one who celebrates the holidays out of order. I definitely enjoy the Christmas music and it is a must when we are getting the holiday decors ready for the craft fairs.

I hope you enjoy the new look of the blog and music. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and much love throughout the holiday season.

Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary Fall Craft Fair

Our most recent craft fair was at the Carolyn S. Reedom Elementary school in SW Las Vegas. I have been the co-chairman of this event two years ago and I was happy to be a vendor this year. The event was definitely a hit for the school and also for our booth. We had such a great time seeing all our friends who feel like family and meeting many more new people who also live in Mountains Edge. Below are two pics of our booth. I am thinking next year we might just opt for 2 tables.

Thanks again Reedom PTA for a wonderful event. I hope you awesome ladies did well!

Too Cute~n~Crafty Tote Bags

It is always fun to go to the craft shows and see what fun stuff of ours will sell. Every craft fair unique and each craft fair we always have a hot item.

Our Too Cute~n~Crafty tote bags were a big hit at our recent craft show at Reedom Elementary. We are excited to fill our custom orders and get them out before the holidays. If you like our tote bags give us a shout out. The bags are $5.00 each and come in many colors. Blow are a few we have....

Scarves & Hair Clips

Everyday we are trying to find new and fun things to add to our Too Cute ~n~Crafty line. Recently, we added these really cute and fun scarves. They are very light weight and I have had tons and tons of compliments. Currently, we are offering these butterfly scarves in black, pink, and blue for $7.00 each. Pick a matching flower hair clip to go with it, and the total charge is $10. If you are interested in looking at our scarves, please just send us an email.

Reedom Elementary Fall Craft Fair

Things are coming along quite well for the craft fair that we have coming up on November 20th. We have a lot of fun, new stuff that it is literally taken up my office and now we are spilling out into the other rooms in the home. I am now asking Santa for a new craft room for Christmas. I have been a good girl this year, do you think I will get one?

I hope that everyone comes out to the Fall Craft Fair on November 20th. The event runs from 10 am to 3 pm. There will be live entertainment at 10:30 and also 11:00, food, and even an area for the kids to do crafts while you have time to shop.

The address for this event is 10025 Rumrill St. Las Vegas, NV 89179. The cross streets are Mountains Edge Parkway and Cimmaron. The school is located just south of Blue Diamond in the Mountains Edge Master Planned Community.

Please stop by our booth and say hi. We would love to meet you.

Winter Wonderland and Freezin Tis Season

So, I will admit.... it is November 16th and I have been listening to the 24/7 music station from Utah via the web. I am a sucker for Christmas music. I agree that playing Christmas music before Halloween is just, wrong... but starting November 1st I am ready to bring on the holidays.
As I listen to the station recently, they have been talking about the ski resorts opening, the temps at night are below freezing, and 7 day forecast calling for snow..... it kind of makes me home sick for the snow this time of year. Don't get me wrong, when I have to leave the house to run an errand and the 75 degree temp awaits outside, I don't complain....
I was inspired to make the 3 Tier Blocks one day while listening to the Christmas music. The blocks are $10 each and will look cute in your home now until the warm weather turns again.

Country Snowman

I love, love snowmen at Christmas time. It might be because we live in the desert and the thought of building a snowman on Christmas day is simply non existent. I enjoy decorating the home with all sorts of different snowmen, tall and small. Below are some of our snowmen for this Christmas season. Please let us know if you have any questions.

3 Tier Snowman $10.00
Country Snowman $7.oo

4X4 3-Tier Reindeer

Reindeer and snowmen are two of my most favorite Christmas decorations. Growing up, my mom made these 3 reindeer that had to be assembled each year. I used to look forward to the night we would put the Christmas decorations up and we got to assemble the wooden reindeer. As I got married and started having kids, I inherited the wooden reindeer and my children enjoy the same tradition that I once did putting the cute little wooden reindeer together.
These 3-tier reindeer is my own updated version of some really cute reindeer. Below is a picture of the beginning process and then the final completion. Each reindeer is different and each sales for $8 a piece. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did making them.

Reindeer #1 $8.00

Reindeer #2 $8.00

Reindeer #3 $8.00

What's in store.... Two more shows!!

Our first show is November 20th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. I have been the co-chairman for the past two years for this show and I am so excited to be a vendor this year! Last year the attendance blew the roof off!! Over 90 vendors participated and when the door closed that day it was an estimated 500 people walked the school halls. Lots and lots of vendors will be repeats as they did such an amazing job at the show last year. Lots of craft fairs going on in Las Vegas the weekend of the 20th, mark this one on the top of your list. You will not be disappointed!!

The address for this event is 10025 Rumrill St. Las Vegas, NV 89178. The cross streets are Mountains Edge Parkway and Cimmaron, just south of Blue Diamond.
We will be taking the weekend of Thanksgiving off to celebrate with family and friends, but not before having a Scentsy Candle party at my home on November 17th at 6:30 pm. Diane Davis, a Director of Scentsy will be here that night to showcase all the wonderful Scentsy products just in time for the holidays.
On December 1st we are kicking off the official countdown to Christmas, Crafting Style!! On Saturday, December 3rd some very crafty and very talented ladies will be showing off their crafts. So far we have 5 vendors who would like to participate in this event. Help pass the word around!! We will get the time out to everyone as soon as we confirm with all involved.
Thanks again for all of you who check out our craft blog! I hope you enjoy what you see and it keeps bring you back for more.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and remember, giving is thanks enough.

Heritage Clothesline

I want to highlight my very talented and I might add, beautiful cousin, Margaret Tyler. Her and her family own Heritage Clothesline (www.heritageclothesline.com) and they make the cutest clothing for dolls. Their product was perfectly with the American Girl dolls. These pics below showcase their show this weekend at the Nutcracker Market in Houston, TX. If you are looking for a wonderful gift this Christmas season (or anytime during the year) check out their website and/or follow them on Facebook.

Good luck this weekend ladies~ You are my inspiration...

Holiday at the Co-Op

The weather was wonderful today for craft fair at the Co-Op. Who couldn't handle 80 degrees on a beautiful fall day in November.

KyLee and Sawyer had to tag along today and I think they had a fun time. The one thing that I truly love about the craft fairs we attend are the people we meet. I have meet some really, really nice customers and some fabulous vendors. I enjoy the new found friendship that seems to take place after each event.

Thanks again for all those who stopped by our booth to say hi! We hope to see you again at our next show on November 20th.
