Spring Flowers

The weather in Vegas is getting cold again. We are going from low 70's to 40's by mid week. Each day when I watch the weather forecast it makes me eager for spring. To help me get into the spring mood, I have ordered some really cute Spring Daisies and Camo Flowers and they will be here within the week. I am so excited to see the camo flowers and I think they will be a hit! Is there any colors of the Spring Daisies that you want? Let us know.

Bottle Cap Hair Clips

I am hooked on the bottle cap hair clips!! They are so much fun to make and my favorite word "easy" to do. I am all about easy. Here is the first glimpse of what I have made over the past couple of days and I am ready to get creative again and make some more. What would I ever do if I didn't have a Micheals or a Hobby Lobby close by. The thought makes me shutter... (lol)

Canvas Hair Clip Holders

I am a HUGE fan of hair clips, bows, and everything that looks cute in my girls hair. It stems back to the days of playing girls fastpitch softball. Every picture that I look at, if it was when I started my softball career at the age of 5 or finished up at the age of 21 during the "college softball years" I have always wore a bow in my hair.

With the massive amount of "hair ditties" we have as a family, I am constantly looking for fun, cute ways to display the hair clips.

One day while I was in our local craft store I walked passed some canvases they had sitting out in the aisle. After much thought and ponder.... I came up with these. I hope you like them just as much as I do.

Canvas Hair Clips Display

I am so giddy about these that I have to share with you... For a little while now, I have been thinking of how to display our hair clips at craft shows. Last night I came up with a cute idea and of course, I headed over to Micheals to lay out my latest idea.

Over the weekend, I will be working on some canvas hair clips display boards. The best part.... I will be making some to sell as well. Now, when you purchase all your fun bows, flowers, etc you will have something really cute to hang them on!

New Flowers!

Yay... I am so excited to get pics of our new flowers up. KyLee has been working on getting these published and she did a good job. Take a look and if you see some that you would like, please let me know. Each flower is $3.50 a piece or $6.00 for the set.

Also, if you have children who attend Reedom Elementary, I still have a bunch of cute flowers in the school colors to go with their uniforms. Let me know if you are interested!

We're Ready For Boo!

It is a toss up which is my favorite holiday, Halloween or Christmas. I love the cooler weather, putting up the Fall and Halloween decorations, and yes, I even enjoy shopping for those hard to find Halloween costumes for the kids.

We are all set and ready to go for our craft fair this Saturday at Alliante Libray. Here are a few of the Halloween items that we will have displayed. Looking forward to our first of many craft fairs this season.

It has been a fun past couple of days trying to pack for our trip, work, and most importantly... giving the hair clips posted on our blog. KyLee is becoming quite the photographer and blog designer.
